"In one series of studies, one group of elderly participants received regular, conversation-filled social visits while another received social visits that also included massage; the second group saw emotional and cognitive benefits over and above those of the first. Field has found similar gains in both premature and full-term infants, pregnant women, children and adults with chronic pain conditions or emotional problems, and healthy adults. Even short bursts of touch—as little as fifteen minutes in the evening, in one of her studies—not only enhance growth and weight gain in children but also lead to emotional, physical, and cognitive improvements in adults. Touch itself appears to stimulate our bodies to react in very specific ways. The right kind can lower blood pressure, heart rate, and cortisol levels, stimulate the hippocampus (an area of the brain that is central to memory), and drive the release of a host of hormones and neuropeptides that have been linked to positive and uplifting emotions. The physical effects of touch are far-reaching."

Intimacy is a fine-tuned art. If you're not thriving in your intimate relationships, learning the Art of Intimacy will teach you how.

Manipulation, deceit, jealousy, compulsive behaviors, control, abuse, self-harm, volatile explosions of anger or rage, mistrust & other dysfunctional coping mechanisms occur because we don’t feel safe & secure to express our self authentically while in relationship. Learning the Art of Intimacy will help you become in touch with your innermost essence & to authentically share in healthy, balanced exchange with another.

Insecurities, rejection, fear of abandonment, etc. may leave us feeling isolated & alone, closed off from everyone around us. Dating can be daunting, while establishing thriving connections could seem almost impossible for some. If you're struggling to date or open up to others, learning the Art of Intimacy or booking a Sacred Intimacy Healing session can quite literally change your life.

In this affection-starved culture, we may not feel loved, honored or supported as we are. We may turn to behaviors which are unhealthy due to feeling lonely & disconnected, because we lack healthy outlets which honor our desire to feel connected & revel in those connections. We all experience the same drive to feel free to be ourselves & to be appreciated for who we are. So many of us turn to drugs, alcohol or other self-destructive methods to ease the pain of feeling disconnected, unloved, misunderstood or sexually unfulfilled. It's time to change all that. Book a Cuddle & Platonic Touch Therapy Session, Sacred Intimacy Healing Session or Learn The Art of Intimacy.
